2 million fans have shown Harmonix love on the Rock Band Facebook page. In recognition of that, Harmonix is returning the love by giving fans an ealry DLC reveal.
In a statement on Rockband's official forums, Harmonix said:
"Though we had initially announced it as a tiered reveal (i.e. announcing 4 artists if we hit by 9/19, 3 artists if we hit by 9/26, etc), you were all so supportive of the drive to 2 million likes and you generated so much awesome discussion that we're just going to go ahead and announce 4 artists anyway!"
In the coming weeks and months, Rock Band 3 fans can look forward to seeing DLC packs featuring Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Breaking Benjamin, and Dream Theater.
Harmonix has yet to reveal which specific titles from each artist will be in the Rock Band DLC, but they did announce Breaking Benjamin will includ ea few key requests after their last pack.
I am personally hoping for "Isn't She Lovely" from Stevie Wonder. What songs are you most looking forward to?
