Rebecca Chambers Joins RE Mercenaries 3D Cast
You've seen her in gameplay footage before, but Capcom was secretive about Rebecca Chambers' role in the upcoming Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. If you were hoping you'd get to play as the youngest (and smallest) member of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, you're in luck. Capcom has officially announced Rebecca Chambers as the seventh entrant in the Mercenaries 3D roster.
Gamers who play as the biochemistry expert can take advantage of all of her abilities. Though no strengths and weaknesses have been confirmed, she'll likely remain similar to her presence in Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition's Mercenaries Reunion mode. And we can probably expect some alternate outfits, as well.
At first, I wasn't too keen on the idea of playing through the Mercenaries modes from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 on the 3DS. Lately, however, it seems as though Capcom is trying to promote the mode as its own title rather than a collection of timed extras. As more footage and new reveals are released, The Mercenaries 3D looks more and more like a fully fleshed-out title meant to keep fans busy until Resident Evil: Revelations arrives on Nintendo's dual screen handheld.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D launches for the 3DS on June 28. With 30 missions and multiplayer capabilities, it's obvious Capcom cares about this title. Keep an eye on it, 3DS owners, and enjoy all things Resident Evil.
