Razer Wildcat Xbox One controller announced

Revealed at Pax Prime, will ship in October

Min-Liang Tan, the CEO of Razer products, announced on stage at PAX Prime today the brand new Razer Wildcat controller for Xbox One. It is green and black in color and comes with a plethora of customizable features.

Right off the bat, it weighs in at 260 grams which is two lighter than Xbox One's stock controller at 262 and much less than Microsoft's elite controller coming later this year. The rear of the controller will see two removeable, aircraft-grade aluminum triggers. These will rest right in the middle, rear of the controller and their function can be mapped to any in game feature for quick use. Four total buttons are on the front for both volume and button configuration. The far left button brings up a quick menu which can reconfigure the button layout on any game.

The controller will ship in October for a price of $149.99 and has a focus on tournament mode games. In fact, Esports teams such as Team Liquid, Elevate, Synergy and CounterLogic all contributed to its design.
