Puzzle Quest: Galactrix Coming to XBLA

 XBLA Confirmed for April 8th, PlayStationNetwork Coming This Spring

D3Publisher today confirmed that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix from Infinite Interactive will launch for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on April 8th, 2009.  Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will support online multiplayer, matchmaking, leaderboards, voice chat and more for a full-spectrum online play experience.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is a rich new addition to the beloved Puzzle Quest universe.  The game incorporates a powerful blend of casual and hardcore gameplay elements, similar to those adored by fans of the critically acclaimed Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, into an all-new futuristic, science-fiction setting.  An innovative hexagonal puzzle board allows for a wide range of strategic depth if a player chooses, allowing for both casual and hardcore players to enjoy the game on their own terms.  A rich and detailed storyline and fresh gameplay elements make the world of Puzzle Quest: Galactrix a captivating new adventure to explore and conquer.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix for the DS, Windows PC and XBLA were developed by Infinite Interactive Pty. Ltd. and the PlayStation®Network version was co-developed by Infinite Interactive and Kalloc Studios.  Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is rated “E10+” (Alcohol Reference and Violent References) by the ESRB, and shipped for Nintendo DS™ system and Windows™ PC on February 24, 2009.
