Prototype 2 Demo Playable at New York Comic-Com

Fans drooling over Prototype 2 will get a chance at some hands-on time with the highly anticipated open world/action thriller.  For the first time ever, Prototype two will be playable at New York Comic-Con in the Activision booth.

A few months ago Activision teased fans at the San Diego Comic-Con with videos of Prototype 2, but now they are offering two playable missions.

"The first mission touches lightly on Heller's story, while the other is something we call a 'Rampage Challenge' — where it's all about the action and players can compete for the best score.  Both missions will give fans an initial taste of what's in store when the final version of Prototype 2 comes out in April next year," explained Ken Rosman, Studio Head of Radical Entertainment.

In addition to a playable demo, the Prototype 2 team will be hosting a Twitter sweepstakes during Comic-Con for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind, James Heller custom-skinned Xbox 360.  Users who Tweet any message contianing #Prototype2 between October 13 and October 16 will automatically be entered into a random drawing to claim the prize.

Byoned the first-time playable Prototype 2 demo, Radical Entertainment also announced the online Infected monster creation tool Protothingy -- an all-new way to become an even more hardcore Prototype fan.  Prototype 2's online creatino tool allows users to mix and max from a hilarious library of Infected arms, legs, eyes, props, and more to piece together their own Infected beast.
