Poorly-Received Sonic Games De-listed

Speaking to MCV, Sega has revealed it is removing substandard Sonic the Hedgehog titles from store shelves.

“Any Sonic game with an average Metacritic has been de-listed,” Sega’s SVP of EMEA Jurgen Post said. “We have to do this and increase the value of the brand. This will be very important when more big Sonic releases arrive in the future.

And those "more big Sonic releases" are right around the corner, with Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Sonic Colors, and Sonic Free Riders for Kinect all due within the next two months.

In the future, how about just making games that don't suck in the first place?
