Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare coming to PS4 and PS3 in August

Forgt waiting until E3. Sony and Electronic Arts have announced today that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, the third-person shooter from PopCap Games, will be coming to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 19.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare features 24-player competitive multiplayer or up to four player wave-based co-op in the Garden Ops mode. The PlayStation versions of the game will also include the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down expansion content from day one.

As you play the game, you unlock new abilities, customizations, taunts and more. The PS4 version, specifically will be playable at a native 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the PS4 version will also be playable via Remote Play on the PS Vita, and supports split screen co-op. Lastly, the popular Boss Mode feature will be playable as a companion experience on mobile devices using the PlayStation App.
