PixelJunk 4am drops this spring on PSN

PixelJunk 4am is a strange game. It's really kind of hard to describe. On the one hand, it can very easily be called a music game. But on the other hand, it features several elements that help make it pretty darn unique.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, gamers will be able to check out PixelJunk 4am next week during the free GDC kick-off party in San Francisco. There will be free shirts, prizes, drinks, and a free preview of Q-Games upcoming title. PixelJunk Eden music man DJ Baiyon will also be there, which is really awesome.

In addition to the news of this seemingly kick-ass event, the blog post also revealed that PixelJunk 4am would launch this spring. You know what that means! The wait is almost over!

Check out the full post on the PlayStation Blog to read more about the game's mechanics. Additionally, there's a good explanation on spectator mode that you can read. Basically, you'll be able to check out other players' performances and follow your favorites. Seems pretty cool! PixelJunk 4am may turn out to be a must-play downloadable music game.
