Though Castle Crashers has been out for little over three years now, the community continues to expand daily. Developer Behemoth has finally answered the prayers of the ever growing community by releasing the notorious Pink Knight – along with new DLC – to the XBLA version. The Behemoth is also donating $1 to the “Keep a Breast Foundation” for every DLC download (up to 50,000).
The DLC, dubbed the Blacksmith Pack, is said to be “much like William Wallace (ala Braveheart), but purple and definitely not Mel Gibso,” according to The Behemoth. Both the DLC, priced at 160 MSP, and the Pink Knight pack can be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
A free title update has also been released, fixing numerous bugs and adding some interesting multiplayer features/modes. Finally, two new Avatar Items have been added to the game; players who have completed the game will receive said items instantly by rebooting the game.
