Paul Heyman asks: “Who else would they put on the cover of WWE 2K17?’

Brock Lesnar's advocate seems pretty smug right about now... and so he should be

He is the master of the microphone, a pioneer in all things promotion and now Paul Heyman has reacted to the recent decision to use Brock Lesnar as the cover star of WWE 2K17.

Many fans were slightly surprised that WWE and 2K Sports selected Brock Lesnar as the cover star, as oposed to giving the limelight to upcoming talents such as The New Day, but the reasons behind the decision to run with Brock have been pretty reasonable since the announcement was made.

However, if you haven't heard one hundred times over already, Brock Lesnar is Paul Heyman's client and when he comes out on top… Heyman likes to brag.

And this time is seemingly no different for the Paulrus (little shout-out to Jerry "The King" Lawler for that awful nickname) as he and Brock discussed the opportunity during 'This Week in WWE' on the WWE Network.

WWE's official Twitter account posted this small promotional video, check it out:

Paul Heyman also spoke to GamesRadar in a recent WWE 2K17 interview, where he was asked which superstar he would pick from his hardcore ECW roster he would like to see in WWE 2K17.

In vintage Heyman fashion, he gave an answer that many fans might not have expected.

“I would choose Joey Styles," he said.

"Why? Because I would like to see Brock Lesnar ‘F5’ Joey Styles. I’d love to hear what it sounds like when you're in mid-air and you're coming crashing down to the mat and you hear, “Oh-myyyyyyy-God!”. Crash.”

You just neverrrrrr know; this match could happen!

Now, we're sure that Joey Styles would be up to the challenge, taking inspiration from John Laurinaitis' shock victory over John Cena at Over the Limit in 2012.

But, having seen what happened to the entire WWE commentary team (and a camera man) last time Brock Lesnar never got his own way… Our money's on the former UFC Heavyweight Champion.
