Offline solo and co-op play leaked for Star Wars Battlefront; Coming soon as ‘Instant Action’ mode

Oh boy.

It appears as though the new DLC for Star Wars Battlefront released with a bit of hidden content in it. The Bespin DLC released today, bringing quite a bit of content and hidden items, items that have already been dug up by netizens.

DICE has been suggesting more offline play features since April, but haven't spoken on what those features will be. Apparently, they didn't have to. Redditor Uninspired_Zebra has released images and a video showing off the upcoming Instant Action mode that will be hitting Star Wars Battlefront "soon."

"Instant Action: Epic battles for one or two players. Enjoy epic battles offline by yourself or with a friend."

The pictures (found in the gallery below and the video above) go on to detail the Instant Action mode to feature Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron. Both Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron feature maps and objectives for the maps (like escort missions).

Players will be able to choose from different difficulty settings and whether they want to play solo or with a friend in online co-op.

Uninspired_zebra went on to say that the PC version of Instant Action will not support split-screen co-op, but the console version will.

Another Redditor confirmed the leak with quite a bit of code for the offline mode, which also includes quite a bit of content that was not released in the Bespin DLC.
