"No Plans to Ban Legit Fans" Says InfinityWard About Early Modern Warfare Play

Though Modern Warfare 3 doesn't come out until the 8th, some gamers have been lucky enough to find stores breaking street date, already jumping online for some early multiplayer action. Some have speculated these players might find themselves banned from online play in return for their impatience, InfinityWard Creative Strategist Robert Bowling reports on Twitter that the company has no plans to punish their fans.

"No plans to ban legit fans, but try to wait til midnight launch on Tuesday to play #MW3. Can't wait to jump online with everyone then!" -@fourzerotwo

Though this is good news for those able to score an early copy, the rest of us will have to wait until the game's official launch this coming Tuesday.
