No plans for Alien: Isolation on Wii U right now, says dev

Looks like Wii U owners are missing out on another anticipated third-party game. Creative Assembly has just confirmed that the newly announced Alien: Isolation will not be coming to the Wii U any time soon, which is a bit unfortunate given the potential of the Wii U gamepad acting as a motion-tracker.

"Right now, we don't have plans to put the game on Wii U," Creative Assembly wrote on the Alien: Isolation Twitter. No explanation was given, but do we really need one? SEGA is hardly the first third-party publisher to skip out on the Wii U and definitely won't be the last. Still, it would've been nice to use the gamepad for controlling the iconic motion-tracker which acts as one of your few defenses against the nearly 9-foot xeno hunting you.

Alien: Isolation is set to release on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
