Despite all the controversy around the 3DS sales performance, Nintendo continues to unveil groundbreaking firmware.

This time, the big N plans to launch a 3DS update in November that will allow users to capture 3D video with the portable device. The system update, scheduled for November, will bring the ability for users to make their own 3D videos using the 3DS camera which they can then use to "create their own original 3D productions and view them on the portable.

Included in the system update is an improved eShop and an update for the Mii Plaza.

Nintendo confirmed the 3D video addition in a press release, which added "new experiences for people who have conquered all the StreetPass challenges in StreetPass Mii Plaza" were coming as well.
