New Vegas Lonsome Road DLC Due Out Next Month

A few weeks back, Bethesda announced that Fallout: New Vegas' upcoming DLC, Lonesome Road, would not be hitting its scheduled August release date. Instead, the developer delayed the DLC "indefinitely," which obviously saddened many who were looking forward to more action in the wasteland. A few days ago, though, Bethesda revealed some good news: Lonesome Road will be releasing September 20th on Xbox 360, PS3, and Steam.

The DLC throws players into the shoes of Ulysses, a courier who refused to deliver the platinum chip that set the events of Fallout: New Vegas in motion. Your travels will take you to the Divide, a new area in the wasteland that has been devastated by years of storms and earthquakes.

Following the Lonesome Road release, two new smaller add-ons will be released. Courier's Stash gives players who didn't preorder the game the Caravan Pack, Classic Pack, Mercenary Pack, and Tribal Pack. Gun Runner's Arsenal adds new unique weapons and new weapon mods, ammo types, and recipes to the game. Courier's Stash will be available for 160 MSP and Gun Runner's Arsenal for 320 MSP; both available on September 27.
