New Track Packs on the Way for Guitar Hero World Tour

Activision has revealed some new info about a few Guitar Hero World Tour DLC track packs. The sixth European Track Pack is available today for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii and features the following songs:

  • Placebo – “The Bitter End” (France)

  • Loquillo y Trogloditas – "Cadillac Solitario" (Spain)

  • Finley – “Adrenalina” (Italy)

Additionally, progressive rock band Phish will make their first appearance in Guitar Hero with three live recordings later this month. Also coming this month to Guitar Hero are three tracks from Ben Harper and Relentless7’s debut album, White Lies for Dark Times. The Phish Track Pack will be available on June 25th, while the Ben Harper and Relentless7 Track Pack will be out on June 18th.

The Phish Live Track Pack features live recordings of “Sample in a Jar,” one of their few studio recordings released as a single, “Down with Disease,” which appeared throughout pop culture in the mid-90’s and led to a surge in the band’s popularity, and “Chalk Dust Torture,” the song lead guitarist Trey Anastasio once called his favorite to play on stage.

Ben Harper and Relentless7’s first time in the virtual spotlight on the Guitar Hero stage features the following three tracks off of White Lies for Dark Times: “Number With No Name,” “Shimmer & Shime” and “Fly One Time.”

The sixth European Track Pack can be downloaded from Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points and from the PlayStation Store for $5.49. The songs are also available as singles for 160 Microsoft Points, $1.99 from the PlayStation Store or 200 Wii Points.
