New trailer shows off Rainbow Moon's SRPG combat

Rainbow Moon is a cool new strategy RPG heading exclusively to the Playstation 3's PSN store. Though the game definitely lacks the graphical charm of something like Disgaea, it could be an excellent distraction for those who are already 80 hours into that particular title. The battle system in particular has some very interesting ideas going on, as this trailer shows. Check it out, and let us know if you'll be picking up Rainbow Moon when it drops in July!

Game info: Embark on an epic adventure that leads you through a beautiful, isometric, open world with detailed high-definition visuals. Rainbow Moon is a role-playing game with a strong emphasis on exploration, character development and turn-based battles.

Six playable main characters with upgradeable weapons, armor and accessories; about 120 special skills and more than 20 challenging dungeons are awaiting you in a fascinating story that lasts over 40 hours.

Rainbow Moon is available for PS3 on PlayStation Store in July 2012.
