Last week, news of two new Pokémon gamesPokémon X and Pokémon Y, dominated headlines. The new games, coming to 3DS later this year, introduce introduce new Pokémon and a new storyline set, for the first time ever, in a "spectacular 3D world." A trailer gave us a brief look at the new gameplay and the three new starter Pokémon, as well as two Legendary Pokémon included in each version of the game.

The information just keeps pouring in though, with The Pokémon Company and Nintendo releasing some more new screenshots of the titles biggest stars -- starter Pokémon Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, as well as Legendary Pokémon, Xerneas and Yveltal. Furthermore, The Pokémon Company has also included an infographic detailing the types of starter Pokémon and how they match up against each other.

As you can see, Chespin is a grass-type Pokémon, Fennekin is fire-type, and Froakie is water-type. As the diagram shows, each Pokémon has comparative strengths and weaknesses. For example, Fenneken (fire-type) is strong against Chespin (grass-type), but weak against Froakie (water-type). In turn, Chespin (grass-type) is strong against Froakie (water-type), but weak against Fennekin (fire-type). The graphic below should give you a better idea.

Along with these gorgeous screenshots and helpful graphic, the company randomly revealed the heights and weights of both legendaries. Xerneas stands 9'10" and weighs in at 474 pounds, while Yveltal is 19 feet tall and weighs 447.5 lb. Weird, but interesting I suppose.
