New Pokemon Ko-Masters mobile game announced

It might have Pokemon-amiibo-like things.

The Pokémon Company has announced a second mobile game in the wake of announcements revealing the beta testing for Pokemon Go. The new game, Pokemon K-Master, will allegedly be available to smartphone owners this summer.

The free-to-play game is being developed by both The Pokemon Company and Heroz, a Japanese AI developer. Details on the game have yet to be revealed, but the developers say that the game will be a marriage between traditional Pokemon mechanics of capturing and trading pokemon to fight one another and board game elements similar to shogi (Japanese Chess).

According to a translation by Rocket News, the Pokemon Company's official announcement suggests that players will build a deck by collecting figures, which has created speculation on what form the figures will come in: physical or digital (like amiibo).
