Naughty Dog creative director wants to make Half-Life because Valve won’t

Do not take this tweet as something super serious. But can you imagine?

Apparently gamers aren't the only ones tired of Valve sitting on their butt while everyone clamors for a new Half-Life game.

In a tongue-in-cheek tweet a few days ago, Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, suggested Valve, who appears to have no plans for the beloved franchise, hand over the Half-Life license to Naughty Dog.

Accompanying the tweet was a photo of Merle Dandridge, the actress who played Fireflies' leader Marlene in The Last of Us, as well as Alyx Vance in Half-Life. So you know, the connections are there.

Neil Druckmann Half-Life tweet

Okay, so Druckmann is obviously joking and let's not blow this into something bigger than it is — a fun tweet that should definitely not be taken seriously, but will probably spawn plenty of speculative articles because everyone is dying for Half-Life.

Of course, stranger things have happened in the gaming industry. Can you imagine the talent over at Naughty Dog working on a new Half-Life?
