Musicians Score Live M.U.D TV Soundtrack

This March, M.U.D. TV will give players the ability to create original programming for their own virtual television station. To heighten the frenetic atmosphere often found behind the scenes at a TV studio, Kalypso Media today announced that the upcoming PC strategy simulation game will boast an original in-game soundtrack that is scored and recorded live by musicians. Johannes Semm, Boris Royko, Cornelius Ulrich and Michael Ptz have created a blend of funk, chill-out and soul music that fit the gameplay perfectly by creating the right atmosphere for the crazy TV studio environment.

In the game, players create their own TV studio from the ground up, hiring actors, staff and directors to create popular TV programming that will propel the station up the ratings chart. But beware, as rival studios will use every trick in the book to sabotage the station and steal its viewers, actors and even those all important advertising dollars. Dirty tricks are not reserved for the competition though, as players can learn their own shady maneuvers to fight back and do whatever it takes build their TV empire!

M.U.D. TV is being developed by Realmforge, a Kalypso Media studio, and will be available on PC in March 2010. For all the latest news on M.U.D TV, visit the official game site
