Modern Warfare 3 Update Coming Tonight

Last week, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling gave a brief history of the Modern Warfare 3 updates the game has seen since launch.  In it, he also included a list of upcoming changes to the game.

It looks like those updates and changes will make their way onto the game sometime this evening.

Bowling just tweeted, "Lots of #MW3 updates hitting tonight.  Including Dom exploit fixes, Type 95, FMG9 rebalance & more."

The full details of the patch can be found on a page recently created to show fans the history of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 updates, and all of the upcoming changes as well.  That page has been updated with the specific hot fixes being released tonight.

The full list of changes in tonight's Modern Warfare 3 update include:

  • Fire rate normalization for Assault Rifles with undermounts
  • FMG9 Re-balancing (Nerf)
  • Akimbo FMG9 Re-balancing (Nerf)
  • Fix for Shotgun's with Extended Mags (Prevents them from shooting more pellets than intended)
  • Type95 Re-balancing (Nerf) - Reduce hipspread.
  • Fix for ACR with Red Dot / Shotgun
  • Fix Type 95 bug related to dropping it.
  • Fix map exploits on Dome

Neither the exact release time, nor the individual platforms were specified.
