Modern Warfare 3 Plans to Add Harcore Ricochet, Additional Game Modes
When it comes to DLC, Activision and the Call of Duty series are king. Odds are, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 won't change that. Of course there will be new maps, but what about new gameplay modes?
Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling confirmed additional modes coming to the top-selling game.
"We're discussing some additional modes now, I'll let you know when you can expect that," he tweeted in response to a fan request for a Hardcore Headquarters mode.
One of these additional modes will include Harcore Ricochet, which Bowling confirmed. "We're going to release Ricochet Hardcore modes to address this soon," he said in response to a heated fan upset over teamkilling.
For those who are unaware of what Hardcore Ricochet is, it's a mode designed to prevent teamkilling. With hardcore mode, friendly fire does exist. Of course, there are always doucheb*gs who take advantage of this and teamkill on purpose. Richocet mode prevents this by returning the damage to the person who fires. In other words, if you shoot an RPG at your team at hte beginning of the match, that sh*t is coming right back at you.
While there are plans to add it, no specific timeframe has been confirmed. "We currently plan to add it it, I'll let you know when."
