Minecraft Pocket Edition to Have Cross-Platform Multiplayer

Sony and Microsoft, take note.  This is how multiplayer should be handled. Minecraft Pocket Edition will have multiplayer that will allow Android users to play along with iOS users in perfect harmony.  There is no separation of devices with Mojang, as evidenced by developer Jens Bergensten's latest tweet.

"Got a question from @GranathJr but answering to all: Minecraft PE will have multiplayer that allows Android users to play with iOS users."

Unfortunately, Mojang hasn't reached a point where they can link the PC version with the mobile least not yet.

In response to a fan question about Pocket Edition users playing with PC users Jens responded, "Im not sure when/if that will be possible."

Oh well, one can dream.
