Medal of Honor Open Beta to Deploy on October 4


For gamers who missed the closed beta for Medal of Honor, Electronic Arts has you covered with an open beta starting on October 4th for the PC at 11:59 PST.

Signing up is as simple as going to the website on October 4th and logging into your EA account. Here is a list of the recommended specs by publisher EA for the upcoming beta:

Operating System: Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7. Processor: QuadCore 2.0Ghz. Memory: 2GB RAM+. Video Card: A video card with 512MB of VRAM and one of the following chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce GTX260; ATI Raedeon 4870. HDD Space: 2GB. Soundcard: Soundcard with DirectX 10 compatibility. DirectX: DirectX 10. Disc Drive: 16X CD/DVD Drive.

One feature that wasn't included with the closed beta is the inclusion of two all-new maps: Kunar Base and the Shahikot Mountains.
