Mass Effect 3 has over 80 minutes of cutscenes

Mass Effect 3 - 874320

The BBFC has rated Mass Effect 3 a 15, citing "strong language" and "infrequent strong violence" as its reasons.  The rating is the same one Mass Effect 2 received, and is also lower than the 18 rating many believed the game would receive.

In addition to the rating, the BBFC has indicated there is apprxoimately 82 minutes, or 1 hour and 22 minutes, worth of cutscenes in Mass Effect 3.  In comparison, Mass Effect 2 only had 23 minutes of cutscenes, which leads me to believe the game will focus heavily on non-interactive plot development.  On the other hand, this could also indicate various versions of each cutscene depening on player choices throughout the game.

Extended Classification Information, or additional detailed information, for Mass Effect 3 will be made available on or after February 28, 2012.
