Marvel has unveiled the cast for their Hulu exclusive series based on the cult comic hit, 'The Runaways'.
It was announced last year that Marvel Studios would be moving forward with the long-awaited adaptation of their cult hit series, 'The Runaways'. With the idea having finally made its way out of development hell, the streaming service, Hulu, which has a great reputation for providing critically-acclaimed original content, was plugged to put out the series in all its glory.
With production expected to begin sometime this year, the studio has finally released the cast for the rebellious group of superpowered teens:
Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder: a nerdy loner who values his friends above all else
Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru: the team's spell-slinging Wiccan
Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean: the beauty queen who might have more power than she knows
Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes: a brash, outspoken girl…with a telepathic link to a pet velociraptor!
Greg Sulkin as Chase Stein: a handsome engineering and tech genius
Allegra Acosta as Molly Hayes: a sweet, innocent, super-strong powerhouse!
If you're unfamiliar with the story, 'The Runaways' follows a group of teenagers who discover their parents are all affiliated with a secret supervillain cult and opt to abandon their dark lineage, forging their own path in a world of heroes and monsters.
