Lots of goodies come in the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Collector's Edition

Revealed on the PlayStation blog today, Square Enix announced the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Collector's Edition, which will be available exclusively through the Square Enix online store. The Collector's Edition comes with a couple of goodies that fans of Final Fantasy are sure to enjoy.

It starts with the Collector Box, which sports the Japanese cover art. Inside there is an 80-page hardcover art book wrapped in a dust jacket featuring character designer Tetsuya Nomura's original drawings. The book offers a retrospective look at the FFXIII franchise, character sketches, Lightning's full range of customization and more.

Next, we have a silver embossed pocket watch. Since Lightning Returns has a 13-day countdown doomsday clock, what better inclusion than a pocket watch to help you keep time?

Of course, a copy of the game on PS3 comes with it, but also included is the Aerith Gainsborough 'Midgar's Flower Girl' DLC, which puts Lightning in one of the most recognizable costumes in the franchise's history. Also, the Collector's Edition equips you with Cloud's Buster Sword, SOLDIER 1st class outfit and victory fanfare.

If you're interested in purchasing the Collector's Edition, it is available for pre-order on the Square Enix online store on February 11, 2014 for $89.99.
