Lord of the Rings: War in the North Delayed


Warner Bros. Interactive and Snowblind Studios stated in a press release today that their upcoming RPG, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, has been delayed. What was crazy about this announcement was not the delay, but yet the release window that the game is now scheduled for.

Originally slated for August, the game is now coming out sometime in November. November is looking pretty clear with low-budget titles like Modern Warfare 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Saints Row: The Third, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, and Uncharted 3 releasing. Okay, enough sarcasm; November is looking insanely packed, all with blockbuster titles. The press release offered no details on why the game is being delayed, but I can't see too many gamers having this title above the games mentioned above on their "must have" list.

Snowblind Studios did release the box art for the game (as if that will make the game more popular) which can be seen below:
