Lode Runner Kicks Off New "Sales & Specials" Deal

Microsoft is kicking off a new deal with the Xbox Live Marketplace called "Sales & Specials," and Lode Runner is the guinea pig. The remake of the classic 80s platformer has had its price permanently slashed from 1200 points down to 800, and there's some new DLC to boot.

The "Skill Pack" costs 140 Microsoft Points and comes with 50 new puzzles, 8 Hang On levels, and one new achievement. Following up on April 13 is the "Journey Pack" that contains two additional achievements.

"This promotion is a great opportunity for gamers to rediscover some great titles and pick them up at the best possible price. I know I'll be checking!" said Sheila Boughten, president of Tozai Games. "We're excited that Lode Runner is the frontrunner in a promotion established to give gamers really great deals."
