Launch trailer revealed for Unepic, Xbox One’s D&D based RPG

Based in comedy, crafting and castles

Enjoyup Games is releasing their side scrolling, D&D based RPG Unepic on Xbox One tomorrow, so of course a brand new launch trailer has been released.

Unepic is a mixture of platform game, role game and joke that takes place in a huge castle of medieval fantasy. It is set in the eighty's style, but completed with the most actual features. We control a character named Daniel who plays D&D, doesn't have too much success with girls (sound familiar?) and thinks he's having a dream because his friends spiked his pint of beer when he's transported to a far off world. Based in comedy, Unepic is set in a castle with over 200 different rooms to explore as well as items that need to be crafted.

With over 70 spells and 100 weapons, Unepic has a wide variety of gameplay at its disposable and encompasses three possible endings. The dialogue breaks the fourth wall and makes references to other games and movies while maintaining an overall RPG feel to the game. Originally released on PC and Wii U in 2014, Unepic is available on Xbox One tomorrow, January 8th.
