Kevin Conroy not returning for Batman: Arkham Origins

Batman: Arkham Origins

Veteran voice actor Kevin Conroy will not be voicing Batman in Warner Bros. upcoming sequel (which is actually a prequel), Batman: Arkham Origins. Conroy is most known for his rough voice as Batman from the classic '90s animated series as well as both previous Batman: Arkham games. It now appears he will not return for the third game, as NAG Magazine (via Arkhamverse) has reported Warner Bros. Games Montreal -- the new developer for Arkham Origins -- has decided to go with an unnamed voice actor to play the game's younger version Batman.

None of this has been confirmed by Conroy or Warner Bros. Games Montreal, so there is a chance he could return; however, given the game's prequel nature, it's understandable why the studio would go with a younger-sounding voice. Arkham Origins takes place years before both previous Batman: Arkham titles and will explore the Caped Crusader's first encounters with certain villains.
