Katamari Game on Vita Looks Cool (Duh!)
The Katamari Damacy series has been bringing joy to gamers everywhere since the days of the PlayStation 2. Though the franchise doesn't exactly change things up too much with every installment, it's still a delightfully quirky brand of pure, unadulterated fun. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
It was just announced that a brand new Katamari Damacy would be dropping on the PlayStation Vita. The game won't be straying too far from the formula set forth by its predecessors, and that's a good thing, because those games were great. There will be one change coming, however:
That's right, the new Katamari Damacy will feature touch controls that allow you to stretch and shift your Katamari. This gets me all kinds of giddy, and I know I'm not the only one. Be sure to check out Namco Bandai's official statement, as well as a trailer for the game, on the PlayStation Blog.
