Japanese Mag Hints at New Pokemon Game

The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki Nintendo DS has hinted at a new Pokemon game. According to the publication, gamers can expect more info on the Pokemon title in the subsequent issue, which hits stands on May 21. Sadly for all of us Pokemon fanatics, details on the new game end here.

According to Dengeki Nintendo DS, details on Pokemon Black & White as well as "new title information" will be revealed in the next issue. It is still unknown if the game will be a spin-off or the next entry in the Pokemon RPG series. It's also uncertain which consoles the game will land on.

Despite the shortage of information, it's still an exciting prospect. Could this game be the follow-up to Pokemon Black & White? The current generation of Pokemon games has been out in Japan for some time now, so it would make sense for a new set to launch. And with the 3DS as the hot new Nintendo handheld, is the Big N readying the franchise for its 3D debut?

Dengeki Nintendo DS also featured some new content on the upcoming Kirby title, which just looks awesome. If you want to see some screens, check out the magazine's official gallery. It's a shame that I don't know Japanese. Anyone care to translate for me?
