Although it's been hinted at for a while, it appears that Activision has officially confirmed with IGN about a new gold classic controller to coincide with GoldenEye's Wii-make. The set will be limited and will come with a copy of the game, running for about 69.99 USD. The game on its own will cost 49.99, the typical MSRP for Wii titles.

So will this new Golden Classic deserve your money? It's completely optional since the game will be using different controller set-ups including Wii-remote/nunchuck options. However, there needs to be something said about owning players using a Golden controller. Hopefully, it just won't be something that looks spray-painted on.
