It's True: Xenoblade Is Coming to North America
Wii owners have been hoping for Nintendo to announce that Xenoblade would be making the jump to North America. After launching in Japan and then being released in Europe, gamers were starting to grow restless as they waited for some sort of reveal from the Big N. Well, the day finally arrived, and it was glorious.
Yesterday, Nintendo posted Xenoblade Chronicles on its North American page. The game is scheduled to launch for Nintendo's shiny console sometime in April. Yup, I can't believe it either, folks.
According to Destructoid, GameStop will be the only retailer to carry the long-awaited RPG. This is kind of interesting, and you have to wonder why the game is being confined to a single spot. In any case, Xenoblade Chronicles will be priced at $49.99, the regular Wii price.
This is definitely great news for those of who have been eagerly awaiting for Nintendo to come around to the idea that Xenoblade Chronicles would be an awesome addition to the North American Wii library. Let's just hope this leads to the releases of The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. That's right, Nintendo, we haven't forgotten about those games.
