BlizzCon is just around the corner, by that I mean — it's starting this Friday. The event has been sold out for a while, but that doesn't mean you can't experience the festivities.
Every year Blizzard offers a Virtual Ticket on top of tickets to the actual event at the Anaheim Convention.
The Virtual Ticket is a lot less expensive than event tickets and it offers some in-game goodies across all of their titles. Not to mention it also gives you access to panels, interviews, exclusive content, and access to the closing event — Metallica's concert! The ticket costs $39.99 and this year, Blizzard is giving you the option gift the ticket to anyone you want.
To gift it, go to the Battle.net page where offered purchase a Virtual Ticket, from there you will see 'Buy now' and 'Gift.' Once you've selected 'Gift' you will be prompted to enter an email address (for the tickets destination) during the purchasing process. Once the purchase is complete your friend (or whoever you sent the email too — a stranger if you had a typo) will receive instructions on how to obtain their virtual ticket.
