Premiere social network game developer Large Animal Games has teamed with broadcast media specialist PLUS Media to create a new concept in social media applications that will deliver Public Relations messages to targeted audiences via Online Casual Games - Gamelink Messaging™: Connecting People with Brands through Games.
The first social media game of its kind, WHAT TO WEAR debuts June 15th on the Internet’s most popular social websites, including Facebook Platform, with other social media sites to follow. Distribution will soon be expanded to mobile platforms such as the iPhone. A key feature of the proprietary distribution system is that it enables players on the different social sites to play together, resulting in one huge community receiving messages from the game.
In WHAT TO WEAR, a daily fashion challenge asks players to create their own preferred look for a specified event, such as a red carpet movie premiere, a blind date with a millionaire, or a family BBQ. Using a simple and entertaining voting mechanism, players vote on which outfits are most appropriate for the fashion challenge of the day. Players earn credits each time they vote and each time their outfit is voted on by other players. They can then use these credits to shop for new garments for their virtual closet, so that they are more prepared for the next day’s fashion challenge.
