Indie Games Developer Magazine is a free online mag
There aren't too many publications dedicated solely to the indie game industry. It's a shame, too, because indie gaming has exploded in recent years, and it can only get bigger and better from here on out. If you're a fan of indie games and want a deeper look at the industry side of things, all the while still checking out some cool games, Indie Games Developer Magazine is for you.
Issue #1 of 2012 is now out, and you can check it out straight from your browser. The best part: Indie Games Developer Magazine is absolutely free to read. You'll require Flash 10 or higher, though I'm certain you've got that covered. You do have that covered, don't you? You should also know that in two days, the PDF version will be downloadable, also free of charge.
Indie Games Developer Magazine focuses primarily on games that are either completed or at least 60 percent finished. In addition to games, the mag covers studios, features developer interviews, and has some nifty info on game engines. Also, the pages make a nice, crisp sound when you turn 'em!
Of special interest to me are the features on Time Ducks and the recently announced Orc Attack. Of course, there are plenty of other great reads in the publication. Be sure to check it out so you can learn about some cool new games and studios!
