Hulk Hogan Wants Your Money, Makes Kinect Game
Hulk Hogan has managed to captivate professional wrestling fans all over the world. Why? Don't ask me. Personally, I find him kind of boring, and his slamming of Andre the Giant years ago doesn't stand out to me as that big of a deal in professional wrestling. In any case, Hogan is back for more money, and when he's not engaging in absurd storylines on Impact Wrestling, he's making casual games for Xbox 360 Kinect.
Majesco will be publishing Hulk Hogan's Main Event for Kinect, and more details will be revealed at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. In the game, Hogan will teach players how to wrestle, and ... hm ... Hogan can't wrestle himself, so what exactly is he going to teach wrestling fans? The game will utilize Kinect technology to show you how to perform Hogan's various mannerisms, and it will track your movements to make sure you're doing them correctly.
Hulk Hogan's Main Event will include single-player and tag team modes. Players will be able to experience the drama of professional wrestling in nine different venues. Additionally, the game will feature a create-a-wrestler mode.
No word yet on how any of these modes will play, but it will definitely be interesting seeing a wrestling game for Kinect. It's just a shame it had to star Hulk Hogan. Hopefully they let you reenact the moment when Hogan was crying and shouting gibberish at Mean Gene Okerlund.
