Hudson Entertainment Brings Kachinko to Mobile Phones

HIT PC GAME DROPS INTO MOBILE PHONES

Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for Hudson Soft, announced today the release of Kachinko, which will be available for all major BREW and Java mobile phones. Kachinko combines the excitement of Pachinko parlors with colorful and fast-paced addictive puzzles with four colorful machines to play on.

Like Pachinko, a fun-filled cross between marbles and slot machines, Kachinko features a downpour of colored balls, with only a few places to catch them! The game begins with players on a mission to eliminate three like-colored balls at a time, while keeping an eye out for six game modifiers which can change gameplay. As gamers progress they’ll have to move even faster to set up combos to stay in the game. There are four levels in the game – each can be unlocked by earning a certain number of points in each stage. Additionally, Kachinko features six types of power-ups that can be unlocked as players progress; three are offensive types that help the player, the other three are defensive types, hindering the player.
