Hogrocket Working on iOS Game, Due Out Next Week

It was a shame to learn that Bizarre Creations was shutting down. After releasing some quality titles including Blur, Project Gotham Racing, and Geometry Wars, the studio saw its closure at the hands of Activision. Former Bizarre employees went on to form two different development companies, Lucid Games and Hogrocket Studios.

We have just learned that the Hogrocket team has been keeping busy over the past few months. It turns out that the studio has been working on a brand new game. Unfortunately, for those of us who are really interested in seeing what Hogrocket does next, that's all we know at the moment.

The studio didn't release any pricing details, gameplay information, or screenshots. According to Hogrocket's Peter Collier, the developer doesn't want people to misunderstand the game after looking at screenshots. So it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer to learn more about this initial project by the company.

Thankfully, we do have a release date and confirmed platform. Hogrocket's new game will land on iOS on September 1, which is less than a week away. Hopefully the developer reveals a bit more in the days leading up to the game's launch.
