Here's how the Xbox One version of Bayonetta compares to the Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 version
Not too shabby.
Last summer during Gamescom 2015, SEGA confirmed that the game would be hitting the Xbox One, but did not say when. Apparently, one year and one month was enough time for the gaming community to wait. Bayonetta is available on the Xbox One, thanks to the backward compatibility feature.
We have to ask, though, where does the Xbox One version sit in comparison with the Xbox 360, Wii U, and PS3 version? Luckily, DigitalFoundry asked the same question!
Input response falls between the Xbox 360 and Wii U and frame rate tends to stay around the same level as the Xbox 360 and Wii U versions. However, the framerate on the Xbox One can drop - which appears to be a bug that will be addressed in the next preview patch.
Scenes and actions thats weighed down the PS3, Wii U and 360 versions don't hit the Xbox One the same way. It tends to scoot right on through without too many issues.
Check out the break down below. Basically, the Xbox One version is on par with its predecessors and maybe even smoother in some places.
