Before Valve settled on this controller for the Steam Machine, there were many,many prototypes to choose from. Newly released images via The Seattle Times, provide a first look at Valve's Steam Machine prototype -- a high-end machine that will be shipped to 300 beta testers later this year -- along with the numerous prototype controllers. Although the final controller certainly has a unique design, some of the prototypes are even wackier-looking.
Like the wise Zac Efron once asked in High School Musical 2, "What time is it?" No, it's not summer time. It's actually November, which means it'sCall of Duty time -- particularlyCall of Duty: Ghosts time. The latest entry in Activision's blockbuster shooter franchise is set to release tomorrow and to celebrate the occasion, the publisher has released an infographic filled with all sorts of fun facts.
Not only does the start of November signify Call of Dutytime, but it also represents the best month for a gamer. As we near Black Friday, ads for retailer sales are beginning to leak. Today we have Toys"R"Us, which is actually opening its doors on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 28) at 5:00pm. Now that seems a little unreasonable, as I like to enjoy my time with family, but the good thing is that these promotions run through Saturday while supplies last.
