Grand Theft Auto IV Gets a Title Update for Xbox 360

New update addresses cheating and fixes the invisible player issue

Rockstar has announced that a new title update has gone live for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The Xbox 360 update fixes the invisible player issue and prevents the use of cheat code exploits in multiplayer games. The update will begin automatically the next time you play the game while connected to Xbox LIVE.

Since releasing last year, Grand Theft Auto IV has won various accolades from the gaming press and has sold millions of copies. This fall, the second expansion for the title, The Ballad of Gay Tony is expected to launch exclusively on the Xbox 360 through Xbox LIVE. Additionally, players will be able to purchase this expansion and its predecessor, The Lost and the Damned, in a compilation via Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, a retail disc that includes both episodes and can be played without the original game.
