Ghosts of Snowdown past returning to League of Legends with three new holiday skins

Now that all the spookiness of the Harrowing has come to an end, ideally you survived it, we can now look onward to the more heart-warming time of the year known in Runeterra as Snowdown. In League of Legends, even the most blood thirsty of champions can take some time off from murder and chaos to appreciate this time of year; tradition is tradition after all.

As part of this holiday celebration, Riot has announced three brand new skins to boost cheer. These three new skins are Snow Day Singed, Snowstorm Sivir, and Winter Wonder Lulu. Everyone’s favorite chemist put down the poison for a snow blower and Lulu has communed with a Poro as her new Pix. I have yet to see these three bad boys in action but their concepts all seem pretty on.

Similarly to the Harrowing, Riot will open the vault to release all the skins of Snowdown past. If you already own any of these skins, you will be rewarded RP equal to what those skins are worth as a present for owning what was once a rare skin. Everyone else has been invited to the all you can eat buffet of classic skins. For a full list of these skins, move those eyes of your just a wee bit downward:

  • Snow Bunny Nidalee
  • Workshop Nunu
  • Happy Elf Teemo
  • Earnest Elf Tristana
  • Old Saint Zilean
  • Re-Gifted Amumu
  • Santa Gragas
  • Reindeer Kog’Maw
  • Candy Cane Miss Fortune
  • Ragdoll Poppy
  • Nutcracko
  • Silent Night Sona
  • Festive Maokai
  • Bad Santa Veigar
  • Mistletoe LeBlanc
  • Snow Day Ziggs
  • Dark Candy Fiddlesticks
  • Toy Soldier Gangplank
  • Snowmerdinger
  • Slay Belle Katarina

Lastly, there will be new ward skins as well as summoner icons to unlock during the event. Make sure you load up that RP, get what you want, and collect all of those icons. Happy Snowdown!
