Game Nation Announces Florida as Likely Host State

It's no secret that Florida is the ideal vacationing spot. Beautiful weather, beaches, and, most importantly, an already established theme park hub located in Orlando, Florida. Home to famous attractions like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios that already attract hundreds of thousands of fans, it's easy to understand why Game Nation sees Florida as an ideal location to establish it's interactive video game theme park.

"We've been approached by several great locations," said Cole Peacock, cofounder. "Although we're still in the early stages, Florida would certainly be a great state to partner with."

Game Nation would help Florida's economy with its plan to create 700,000 new jobs, as its immersive, interactive experience will likely require thousands of employees to run effectively.

After searching for an ideal location for the last year, Game Nation opened up to fans for suggestions on the location of this interactive theme park.

"We're creating Game Nation for our fans and want to listen to their voices whenever possible," said RUKE, creator of the Game Nation concept. "The vote for a location was the perfect opportunity to let our fans be heard. After all, this is their park."

Now that the location has been decided, we can hopefully find out more about the theme park itself. Will it be like the already established Disney Quest? The idea and concept of bringing fans into a video game is one thing, but implementing a truly creative and immersive experience for gaming fans is another.
