Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Beta is getting some improvements and a second testing cycle

Square Enix has seen fit to expand its user testing.

Final Fantasy XV's multiplayer beta is already underway, and it looks like Square Enix has already planned an expansion and a patch that will lay down some improvements to the experience. According to a tweet from the Final Fantasy XV account, the patch is meant to "improve matchmaking, " and another phase of testing will run from August 11th through the 13th.

Here's the tweet:

If you haven't already joined the Comrades Multiplayer Beta, you can still do so, you just have to own a copy of the base Final Fantasy XV game, own the Season Pass, and have a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription. The Beta is a light form of what you can expect from the final product, as it's just meant to give you a taste of what's to come.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
