Final Fantasy mobile MMO breaks 500,000 players

Yesterday I found myself at a table with some other game industry types, all of us discussing the sad state of mobile gaming. Though we each had an iPhone, we could barely name more than one or two games we'd collectively purchased worth playing for more than a minute. This is why learning that Square-Enix's own social mobile title Final Fantasy Brigade has topped an impressive 500,000 players, has me hoping the miniature MMO will be making its way to our shores.

The mobile game is a collaberation between the famous RPG developers and mobile giants Mobage. Given that Mobage seems to be doing rather well in the Western markets with titles like Tiny Tower, we're hoping they'll consider bringing it to iOS and Android markets here in the states. Would you give it a try?
