Felicia Day Starring in Dragon Age Live Action Web Series

I think it's safe to say the Dragon Age 2 media train has just hit full steam. Internet sensation and creator of The Guild, Felicia Day, has created and will star in a six-part web series called Dragon Age: Redemption. The series is set to begin in the summer, but you'll be able to check out the world premiere tomorrow night (Wednesday, February 16) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

The series is set in the same time period as Dragon Age 2, and stars Felicia Day as Tallis, an Elven assassin hired by the Qunari. Joined by a group of companions in her quest, she is tasked with hunting down a dangerous mage.

I can't wait to see how this turns out. Day isn't the first person I think of when I think of the dark, bloody world of Dragon Age. After all, her portfolio is made up of The Guild, and roles in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and a few other Joss Whedon projects. A comedy series based on Dragon Age sounds ridiculous, and a serious drama written by Felicia Day sounds almost as crazy.
